So that's a title.
Been meaning to update - but have not. but I am … now.

Without checking in on social media. I feel largely more inclined to keep a journaling blog for this site.

Recently got into neocities and made a couple pages through html/css. So switching back onto this site, I could see I've got more of an understanding on what's happening beyond the hood of this CMS.

Anyway, this is a short update.
I have a few things on the stove.

Recent project is Vesta Mandate Hard sci-fi, political thriller TTRPG set on the tense powderkeg of Vesta Station. by Storygames Chicago

Currently doing a cover and some spot - great to get back into sci-fi and thinking about architectures.

There is not structure to these. Maybe that's the point.

I'm writing in obsidian, as I feel like going straight into the WordPress editor is a little too much of a barrier for me. I assume that's how most folks tend to write/draft. Fan of the ol' text doc.

I should be using headers. Heading 2; Games

I've been recording some games on steam to progress my games journaling. Taking photos and now with it records as I play; Video.
I want to use these as reference points - inspiration; objects for me to practice; look back on.

I made one for morrowwind - I don't have a great memory so this is will help me. at least for me, I do like jogging the memory. If that is helpful? I don't know that knowing the settings I did for the game setup is needed; but like looking back at scribbles from a notebook. It feels kinda great.

Part III - Nonsense and learning japanese.

Not sure why I plucked the word nonsense. it has nothing to do with what the next topic is; which is learning japanese.
This has been a long dream of mine. Getting to know another language. One of my shame; is that I feel like I haven't used my brain that well. Growing up - it was underage substance abuse; which looking back was a real bad thing, know I had a good stretch of brain development. But that is another story; one that I won't share in public in great detail.

Anyway - So far so good. Learning the Hiragana and writing the characters over and over is really rewarding.

I've installed Anki as my flashcards, and have been building a small database of learning notes. This also has been used for learning Python and other ways to track ideas. Neat program, and free.

Ending this steam of conscious rambling now. Maybe I'll look back on these. Or they just serve it's purpose of letting some themes onto paper. But I like making thumbnails for it; so a good excuse to keep doing.

PS: Not done yet.

Another thing I wanted to also record. is that I've recently found out the windows terminal can be themed. After a few hours playing around and logging into a remote Linux server. I've been reading "mary-shelley_frankenstein.epub"

A screenshot of the terminal window - using EPR as the CLI terminal e-book reader. Frankenstein by Mary Shelley

Now that is all. Bye.
